Hello to all you awesome people out there how is everyone doing today? Today’s video is quite long as there is 9 melts. Now I get lots of comments from people asking about different weights of different metals so today I melt down 4 metals and 5 alloys and make 9 identical size blocks and show the weight comparison of each. So sit back relax and enjoy today’s video and hopefully I’ll see all you people are getting next Friday for my usual weekly melt👌🏻😁. Take care and have a great week my friends.
Merch is finally available but I’m not going to push it like some channels , it’s there to find on your own free will. I will mention it here and there but not throw it in your face in every video like a lot of channels do, but if you don’t want the Merch but still want to support the channel Simply donate some of your time to help support the channel just by allowing the ads to play through this will help out a lot and that’s how I make a bit extra revenue and the good thing is more revenue means more giveaways👊🏻😄. A better way to support the channel is play one of my playlists on your computer before you walk away from it and let it play through that really helps as well but don’t ever feel as though you need to watch the ads if you don’t want to simply skip them and move into the video it’s completely up to you and I understand if you don’t have the time to do so👌🏻and like I always say if you like the rings shown and used in this video be sure to check out the description where you can get 20% off the already discounted rings using my code and if you want to try your hand at melting yourself you can buy the burner on its own or the whole furnace set up and I can organize a 5% link for you off the total furnace price just email me on bigstackddddd@mail.com 😁👍🏻.

I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it??????.

Maybe I am showing my recent advance into the seventh decade of my life but really appreciate this guy. No jabber just business. Once I get my grandsons to bed I just put his videos on and end up falling asleep. It’s always still playing in the morning. Nothing better than this. Thank you!

I was thinking 'surely he's only gonna crack a brewsky after hes melted everything 🤨' but you never cease to amaze me bigstackD 😂
An instant classic. Probably the most satisfying ice smash yet. I can't conceive of how many hours of work you packed into a well-edited 26 minutes. Fine work, sir!
That was a lot of work my man!! And a lot of editing! Just for us fans 😄. I appreciate what you do bro! Enjoying your show every Friday. Cheers! 🍻
This could easily have been a 2- or 3-parter, but BSD gives us All The Things on a Friday :-) Very enjoyable to watch on lunch, thanks!

I really love the looks of molten metal. It looks so clean and bright. Might have to look into zinc if I get into melting. I am a boater and zincs are used on boats as a sacrifice to keep other metals from being eaten away. A lot of boat zincs get switched out even if they still have a little life left in them. Lead could probably be easy to get a hold of, after disposing of derelict boats. Too bad about it being toxic. It's a pretty interesting metal.

Love the filming of the sped up walking feet, love the dogs, love the random things you do and love the melting .. thumbs up from the U.K.
When 5 beers are involved... you know this is going to be a great long melt. Loved it.
When you’re doing the calculations for each of the alloys by weight, do you have to allow for losses of one element over another for slag or is it an assumption of a even loss?
I was getting concerned about the molten metal to beer ratio. Good to see this took more than one day. Have a great week. 🦅🇺🇸✌️

Wow D, that was a lot of melting! Great idea to show the different weights of different metals in identical size bars.
Doug McOwen
Very cool to see the various weights between metals on a similarly sized bar. Thank you for that. It definitely puts things in an interesting perspective. I cannot honestly think of anywhere else that has provided that information so definitively, and especially displayed as openly. I love how you're finding new ground to break while still providing useful and contributive methods: good on you my man. (It's also great to see you staying hydrated in the process. After all, it's very important we don't forget our fundamentals.)

Good work as always. I like seeing the varying melt times and characteristics & end weights of the various metals.
