This race had all the best and gloomy bits..what an amazing GP. "through goes Hamilton" will live rent free in my head for a very long time, what an epic battle it was. Hamilton joins the party and suddenly F 1 is interesting again.

This is why we need purpose-driven circuits instead of street circuits. This race was miles more exciting than most other races this season.

This is definitely the scariest turn 1 crash I've seen. I've been watching for 5 years, but never seen a crash like zhou's. I am so glad of how Saftey in motorsport has improved,and that zhou, albon and Russell are all OK. What a great race.

This race was a clear display that places like Silverstone are exactly what F1 needs! Wide grand prix tracks with interesting corner complexes instead of narrow street circuits with only fast corners and 90° corners and 1 or 2 long DRS highways

Despite starting with a horrific (but thankfully, non-fatal) crash, this was a great race! An excellent win for Sainz! 👏👏

Lewis Hamilton on the podium in the UK Grand Prix for the 13th time! Excellent racing from the start, the first corner horror, the restart to the ultimate battle between Leclerc, Hamilton and Perez with Alonso trailing a tenth of a second behind the top four and looking for gaps, the overtakes, the two red Ferraris in the lead battling against each other for the top spot, multiple collisions between the top six and topped off with Crofty's boisterous and gusty commentary.. all in all, the most interesting race this season by a long stretch. Happy for Sainz, also Hamiltion, a little sad for Russel and also because Verstappen wasn't up there at the front battling against the Ferraris and Hamilton. We need more standard purpose built circuits in F1 instead of street circuits. Glad I got to watch the race live and relive the excitement all over again through the highlights. Super excited for the Austrian GP.

This was exactly the definition of a stunning race. It contained all the highs and lows of Motorsport, featuring DNFs, Overtakes, drama, strategy era and a first time winner. Add Silverstone to the above and you've got the most brilliant race of the season thus far.

5:30 that aerial shot. 5 cars, 5 different teams, all competitive enough to battle for podiums. Instant classic.

That sky camera shot from 5:27-5:40 is one of the best aerial shots from this season. To capture 5 drivers, all from different teams, fighting for positions 2-6 in the last 6 laps of the race is truly a sight to remember.

Great circuits produce great racing. Having cars of similar performance helps too.

Can't imagine how hard is for Leclerc fighting for the championship when you have to face incredibly strong opponents like Verstappen, Hamilton, Perez and Ferrari.

Perez, Leclerc and Hamilton's battle was unreal. The roar from the crowd as Lewis passes on the final corner gives you chills. Incredible driving! So pleased to see Zhou and Albon come away unharmed from their really horrific crashes.
