The whole season was absolute fire 🔥 in my opinion. The cinematography was amazing, the CGI was good but some scenes seemed a bit choppy. Overall this season was great and I can’t wait for the next!!

Eddie is already at the top tier level as a guitarist. When a guitarist personifies his guitar as a lover, we can immediately tell how he is very attached to his guitar.

Especially since at that point in time Master of Puppets had only been out for a few weeks

This is hands down the coolest scene in TV history.

@Daniel G beacause the bats were already there , if he didn't do the same bats would have reached to dustin and him and the people of hawkins and hence chaos....he did that to distarct them and buy time par plan to be executed as planned

The origibal plan was to bail out of of the upside down if things got rough. Why did he choose to cut the rope and run outside? All it did was get himself killed. I wish Netflex would have kept Eddie alive, he was my favorite new character

@H2Owl the album was released in March. I wasn't even sure they bothered releasing it as a single.

@Jimmy Greer This song was actually released July 2nd, 1986, so technically speaking this song was released after the events of this scene took place. Although it was first performed live in December of 1985 so I suppose it's possible Eddie attended at least one Metallica concert prior to this time and might've been able to learn it that way, but that's a real stretch to expect him to learn the whole riff and solo based on a couple listens at a concert.

@eBeatz y'all are just assuming stuff about her. The same way Jason REFUSED to even consider she sought out Eddie and wanted drugs. You can't judge a book by its cover. I mean, she might've liked some 'unpopular' (to the preps) music and hid it from others, the same way she did with her ED and trauma. She seemed to have fond memories of the middle school talent show the two were in and remembered Eddie and his band playing, she just didn't realize he was the same kid she hung out with because he looked different. She even remembered the band's name and Eddie said it's because she's a freak (which she doesn't deny). I think there's a lot more to her character but they killed her off too early, which the creators regret since her and Eddie's actor had such great chemistry and they didn't realize it until the forest scene. There's still a good amount of subtext to indicate Chrissy isn't exactly what she portrays herself as to the rest of the school.
