What Skip doesn't understand while comparing regular season averages with last night game is that the Heat don't play every regular season game against the number 1 defense in the NBA.
Herro needs to shoot with confidence. He was passing up shots. Oladipo has been disappointing on both ends and of course Bam needs to be more aggressive. The Celtics benefited from Smart having fresh legs.
C's D had a LOT to do with this with some simple adjustments... making an effort to not foul, close out faster, and not bite on Jimmy's pump fakes. That D can easily be repeated all series.
Jimmy plays like Khawi. They play at their own pace, but the difference is, Khawi's pace is slow and steady while attacking, Jimmy just cool with how the game flows no matter if they are up or down, but he plays the same, and like skip said, with no urgency, that Kawhi plays with
The reason Butler didn't imposed his will cuz now BOS got two big defenders back, is nice to score and don't have to worry going to the lane without two defenders that makes it hard on him
Tyler and Bam got to step up and help Jimmy Butler Miami is good I'm talking about Bam 6points is not acceptable I need 20 to 25 points from Bam if the Heat to go to the final just saying
I'm on a Celtics fan. 2 years ago when we played the Heat, I was optimistic and thought the Celtics were better. After a couple games, I realized the Heat were the better, more rounded team. I have NONE of those thoughts this year after 2 games.
As a Heat fan, this game hurts, but yea Celtics just have the better team. Our guards are too small and inconsistent, Bam isn't aggressive enough, we're still missing Lowry, Tyler has shrunk in the playoffs. I'd be surprised if we make it to 6.
